Found this on the somewhat local craigs. Felt the need to share it with Oppo. Make sure you read all of the very official letter that is pictured (sorry in advance for the crink in your neck you will get).

$20,000? Is it because he’s still got a kilo of cocaine in there and that’s included with the sale?

I hope so, but the letter also stated that the “vehical” is new. We’ll just ignore the year, mileage, and random foolishness that’s been done.

I can see how this could be a cool truck, if it was 2003. Nothing has aged well on it, not the Caddy front end, not the Lambo doors, not the wheels, nothing.

I work for a big appraisal company. This person is on crack. There is no way this would ever have a FMV of $67,500.

I would consider saying it’s a play for insurance fraud... if you can find an AGV/collector insurance that’ll insure that for $67k.

I don't think its for insurance fraud, I just don't think its fair market value. If they called it replacement cost/value it would be more accurate. For example, we got my wife's engagement ring appraised for insurance. The appraisal came back at double what I paid, which is odd because I know there is little to no market for used diamonds. The value wasn't based on fair market value as there is no chance it could be sold for that much, but rather what it would cost to get an identical one in todays market.

I’m with you there. I have AGV coverage, and it’s not based on what I paid (although I’m starting to wish it was!), it’s based on replacement value. I should probably bump up the coverage now that I’m putting more money into it and therefore making it more expensive to replace with a similar one.
